Commissions - is the income you get every time someone clicks on your affiliate link. This can either be in the form of a fixed fee or a percentage of the sale. This is usually pre-recognized and should be known in advance before joining affiliate programs.

Affiliate marketing programs can be found on affiliate networks like CJ Affiliate by Conversant (previously known as Commission Junction), LinkShare, ClickBank, ShareASale, Amazon Associates, eBay & Envato. Depending on their needs, you can apply to these affiliate networks.
- For example, on CJ Affiliate Chat you can easily set up your account but once you find the companies or products you want you will need to reach out to the individual companies in the network.
- On Amazon Associates, the request is not reviewed until you make your first commission, which also means that it may disapprove you and you won't earn your first commission.
However, once your application is approved, there is no need to reapply for promote Nike, Disney products and everything they include.
