The problem with sending emails on WordPress

WordPress uses the function mail of PHP to send e-mails. Several WordPress web hosting services have not configured this feature correctly or this feature is expressly disabled. Either way, your emails will not be delivered.

The alternative solution is to use third party plugins to send the emails. You can use a service like Mandrill, SendGrid ou GoogleApps.

Log in to your dashboard and click on the email accounts (Showcase).

After creating your account, you will be ready to use it on WordPress. But before that, you need to get the following information from your web host:

1. the SMTP host for your email address
2. The SMTP port for a secure connection

You can retrieve this information by contacting the customer service of your web host. Most provide this information.

How to use your personalized email on WordPress

All you have to do is install the plugin WP Mail SMTP. After activating the plugin, you need to navigate to the location “ Settings> Email“, To configure the plugin.

You must first specify the address you created. After you have to enter your name "From".

If you don't specify a name, WordPress will use the one available by default. Make sure that the option " Send All WordPress e-mails via SMTP "Is checked.
