What is WPForms?
Unlike OptinMonster, whose usefulness is often restricted to capturing email addresses, WPForms allows you to create forms whose usefulness can be varied.
The first thing to do is to install and activate the plugin WPForms. For more details, see our step-by-step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin.

Then you must connect WPForms to your AWeber account. Go to " WPForms> Settings »And click on the tab« Integrations ».
Click the " Add a new account "Under AWeber, then click the internet.« Click here to authorize ".
This will display a pop-up window which will take you to the AWeber website. You will need to sign in to your AWeber account. Simply enter your username and password, then click the " Allow Access ».
AWeber will show you an authorization code.
You need to copy this code and paste it into the AWeber integration settings of your WordPress website. You can use anything in the Account Nickname Name field.

Then click on the button Connect to AWeber " to continue.
WPForms will connect your WordPress website to your AWeber account. If successful, it will show you the status "ConnectedNext to your AWeber integration.
You are now ready to add the AWeber registration form to your website.
Go to " WPForms »> Add a new page ". This will launch the WPForms Builder interface.

First, you need to provide a name for your form and then select the form " Newsletter subscription form ».
WPForms will now load the template of a registration form to the newsletter with name and email fields. The default form would work for most scenarios, but you can also add or rearrange form fields if you need to.
Once you are happy with the form, the next step is to connect the form to your AWeber account.
Click on the " Marketing In the right menu, select AWeber.
This will display a popup where you must provide a nickname for this connection. You can use any nickname you like.

WPForms will retrieve your information from your AWeber account. You will need to select your AWeber account and the email list you want to use.
After that, you must select the fields from the list that you want to add to the fields of your form. You can also enter any tags that you want new subscribers to fill.

Once you are done, click on the button Save To save your changes.
Now that you have successfully created an AWeber registration form. The next step is to add the form to your WordPress website. You can add this form on any WordPress widget, page or on lateral bar.
To add the form to a publication or page, just edit the page, then click on the button Add new forms "(Add Form).
This will show a popup where you have to select the form you just created, then click on the buttonAdd Form».
WPForms will add now the shortcode of the form in the article editor. You can now save or publish the page and visit your website to see the form in action.
