Start by entering the time of inactivity. The default is 20 seconds, but you can adjust it to a lower or higher value. Then you have to choose to count the idle time in the WordPress admin area too. Make sure to uncheck this box for better security.

Click the Save Changes button to save your changes.

Now you need to click on the behavior tab on the plugin settings page. On this page you can fine-tune the behavior of the plugin. You can define different logout rules for different user roles.

You can also select what to do when a user is inactive for a specific time. You can log out of the user and send them to the login page, redirect them to a custom page, show them a popup window, etc.
