How to load progressively Disqus

If you use Disqus, progressive loading is essential. Disqus adds a number of additional external queries to your website. Without progressive loading, these can slow down your website.

To gradually load Disqus comments, you can use the WordPress Plugin Disqus Conditional Load. It's a WordPress Plugin free, which can be installed directly from your WordPress dashboard.

Please note: - the WordPress Plugin Disqus Conditional Load. is autonomous. This means that it handles the integration of Disqus comments into your website as well as the addition of a gradual load. If you are already using the official Disqus plugin, you will need to deactivate it before installing this one.

Once you have enabled Disqus conditional Load, you can configure its settings by going to " Settings> DCL Settings On the side menu of your dashboard.

First, you need to configure the Disqus comments feature:

Once you have configured the Disqus comments, you can configure how you want the progressive loading to work.

  • Click On - requires visitors to click on the Upload Comments button.
  • On Scroll - Comments will automatically load when visitors scroll down the page.
  • Normal (Disable progressive loading)

How to progressively load Facebook comments

Finally, if you are using Facebook comments, you will need a plugin called Lazy Facebook Comments. This plugin comes from the same developer as the previous plugin, so you should expect a similar process and tweaks.

Like Disques, Lazy Facebook Comments is an autonomous plugin. It will help you both to add progressive loading for Facebook.

You can install it directly from your WordPress dashboard:
