WooCommerce Inventory Report

Low Stock

The overstock

The last subsection displays the list of overstocked products. Again, all the options are similar. On the column Quantities in stock“, You will notice the excess of products.

Interesting article on stock management. However, I have a question that is not answered in the article. I am in the process of setting up an e-commerce site with the WooCommerce plugin. I have a problem with inventory management. When placing an order, the stock decreases by the quantities of products purchased. Logic. But if I want to cancel an order (because the customer has not paid for example), the stock does not increase by quantities of canceled ordered products. Illogical. Is my site having a problem or is WooCommerce not allowing stock to be increased for canceled orders? And in this case it must be done manually and individually for each product of the order?
