How to add Twitter Cards WordPress

We will do it using the famous plugin Yoast SEO.

If you are using the Yoast SEO plugin, go to the " Social  Of the plugin, and provide your Twitter username.

Then save your changes. Under the tab "Twitter" now you have to tick the box " Adds Twitter map metadata"

It is also possible to choose how the Twitter Cards will be displayed.

The next thing you have to do is navigate to the following location " Users> My profile“. You will see a new field on the information of contact for your Twitter username. Specify your Twitter username also on this field.

If you have a multi-author blog, you will also need to ask your colleagues to fill in this field on their profiles. This way every user will get credit for every their articles are shared.
