Adding social sharing buttons to your blog is essential since they encourage users to share your articles on different social networks. There are tons of free and premium WordPress plugins available that do this job exactly and perfectly: Digg Digg, Flare, Sharebar, JetPack et Shareaholic.
But, there is a problem with the majority of these social sharing plugins. They slow down the loading speed of your blog and that's the reason why I always avoid using plugins like Digg Digg and Flare.
Recently I found a nice plugin named Floating social bar.
Floating Social Bar
As the name suggests, it's a sharing plugin floating horizontally. You can add the share buttons for Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
The plugin is lightweight and works on both articles and pages.
The script used only loads the share buttons when the user hovers the mouse over the buttons. This way, your site will always remain as fast as before.

the plugin Floating Social Bar was created by two leading experts from the global WordPress community: Syed Balkhi and Thomas Griffin.
How to install the social sharing plugin?
Step 1 : Go to: Extensions> Add> research to find the plugin or if you are familiar with installing plugins in WordPress, you can download it from WordPress directory or transfer it manually via FTP software.
2nd step : When activating, you will notice a new link in the tab "Settings" titled "Floating Social Bar".
The options page gives you the opportunity to choose which social network buttons you want to add.
You can also disable the bar on individual pages, posts, or even custom post types. Simply check on "Deactivate the social network bar".
To see the bar in action, look at the top of the social sharing buttons as you scroll down the page.
