Need to create your first page with Elementor?

After having installed the WordPress Elementor plugin, we assume that you want to create your first page. And that's exactly what we're going to do in this text.

Once you activate Elementor, you will be redirected to the page welcome. If you haven't used Elementor before, the video on this page will help you get started. If you just want to jump right in and start playing around with Elementor, click on 'Create your first page'. as on the picture below.

Elementor will create a new Page (you will find it later in the Pages section of your dashboard. Your page may also be different depending on your theme and settings.

On the left side you will find all the parts of a web page that you can use in Elementor. There will be more if you use the Ultimate Addons for Elementor expansion.

Using your mouse, drag editor block of text in the area where it says "Drag widget here".

You will have the option to directly edit the text on the page or in the sidebar. If you don't have enough room, you also have the option to make the sidebar wider.

Since this is only a demo and you will delete it later, click "Publish".

When you click on "Publish", there will be a popup that will last about ten seconds. Click "Have a look" to preview the page. But if for some reason you haven't seen the popup you can click on the eye icon next to the button. Update profile.

Once you're done with the page, click on the hamburger icon at the top left of the Elementor window. This is the technical name for the three vertical lines that are commonly used to represent "menu".

From this area, you will be able to either continue to configure your page, display the page, or exit the dashboard.
