Today we are going to tell you about the recent update of divi, namely 3.25.2. This update brings many new column design options and separates each column on your page into its own unique element, giving you more control over the design and position of each. The improved interface also makes it easier to add, remove, and move columns on the page. This is already possible on Divi and makes your page building experience even easier.

Improved column editing

Add, delete, and rearrange columns with ease

Now you can easily add, remove, and rearrange columns on the page. You can change the column structure on the fly and drag entire columns filled with modules to new locations. You can also easily add new columns between two existing columns.

Manage, reorder, and delete columns individually

Columns are now child elements of rows, which means you can add, remove, rearrange, copy, paste, and extend styles just as you would a tab in a tab module or a slide in a slider module . You can also control column structures in row options. The ability to move columns is a very welcome addition, especially compared to the previous experience of moving modules from one column to another after changing the structure of your rows.

Easily add new columns to rows

The update also brings new UI elements to Visual Builder that allow you to easily add new columns to any row and at any position in the row. Just click the new plus button between two columns to add a new column at that location. When you add new columns, the current row structure automatically adjusts and all modules remain in their previous location.

Drop modules to create new columns

You can also drag modules between two columns to automatically create a new column there and drop the module there. What used to take multiple clicks can now be accomplished with just one mouse move! It's super convenient and easy to use.

The new column options

Complete customization of column designs in their own parameter pane

In the previous version of Divi, column options were rare and somewhat hidden in row settings. With this update, columns get their own popup settings populated with the full range of design options you expect. Background, Links, Padding, Border, Cat Shadow, Filters, Transformations, Animations, Custom CSS, Visibility and more. There are dozens of new design settings and you can control each column individually.
