How to create a WordPress website with Astra and Elementor by importing a website template
First, install and activate the free version of the astra theme.
Then install and activate the free version of the Starter Templates plugin.
Once the Starter Templates plugin is active, navigate to Extensions> Installed Extensions. Then click on the link Lake Library under the Starter Templates plugin.
You will be taken to the getting started page. Here, select Elementor as your page builder plugin.
You will now see the website templates that you can import to create your own. Select one of the starter website templates to import and click on it. Don't worry about clicking on the template, the import process won't start automatically.
There is still a step to be taken.
Note that templates marked with "PREMIUM»Are paid templates. You will not be able to import them because you are using the free version of the Starter Templates plugin.

Once you click on one of the templates, you will be taken to that template's detail page. From there, you can preview the website, then import the entire website by clicking the “Import Complete Site” button.
You can also import one or more of the pages. To do so, select one of the pages and click on the " Import <page name> Template". In the image above, you can see that the homepage -Home- is selected and you can import it by clicking on the button " Import "Home" Template ».
Likewise, you can select other pages and import them.

Once you click on the “Import Complete Site” button, you will be given the option to select what you want to import. I recommend that you do not change anything here. Just click on the " Import To import the entire website.
Once you click on the "Import" button, the site template will be imported and you will see a success message.
Note that the required plugins, images and settings will be imported automatically. You don't have to do anything manually.
Your website is now created. At this point, it will look exactly the same as the template you imported. Click on the button " View Site To display your new website.
