New theme: StudioBlue | Stylish themes blog

J 'ai finished another theme today, it's called StudioBlue. I know that some of my Themes are starting to look similar, but with this theme I focused more on solving some "behind the scenes" issues. Iai received tons of suggestions from Elegant WPT members, and Iai tried to answer a few.

1. Thumbnails are now automatically resized and cropped when you add the custom field. You no longer need to resize your images before publish a message. I also changed the way thumbnails are displayed so that when a post does not contain a custom field with the Thumbnail key, posts are displayed without the thumbnail without any design issues. (some of my old Themes would display an empty square next to the message instead).

2. Jquery is not used in this theme because several people were having trouble getting third party scripts using javascript to work properly.

3. You can now exclude pages / categories from navigation bars via custom theme options. Several people have requested this feature in order to hide the "Featured Articles" category, which is needed to control the featured articles on the home page.

4. Tags: All posts will now display tags, which are housed in a tabbed menu.

5. All articles will display “related articles” in a tabbed menu.
