Have you even thought about integrating social networks into your strategy to generate more traffic to your blog?
If not yet, let me tell you one thing: This is a big MISTAKE!
Social networks (not all) are powerful weapons that all bloggers should exploit to generate free traffic to their blog and create a community that will allow them to gain credibility and even traffic.
I will not recommend all social networks because most of them work well in the United States or in Anglo-Saxon countries but not in French-speaking countries. The stars in France is Twitter, Google + and the star among the stars ... FACEBOOK.
Here are some tips for you to tap into these huge sources of traffic.
- Select 3 keywords related to your niche and make sure that 70% of your content revolves around these keywords.
- Create and publish quality content on your blog (articles - videos - Podcasts) and optimize your blog according to the requirements of Google.
- add a call to action (sharing - comment) under each of your articles.
- Use an auto-responder to send (manually) update notifications to your prospects.
- Make Link your articles to create a real internal structure that will encourage your readers to spend more time on your blog.
- Create a Twitter profile and subscribe to a maximum of profiles (30% of these people will also subscribe to yours).
- Create a Facebook profile and send some requests for additions to friends. Also join other groups (having at least 100 people).
- Add the plugin « Tweet Old Post And link it to your Twitter account. It will then publish (automatically) snippets of your articles on Twitter.
- Link your Facebook account to your Twitter account. This will allow you to automatically post your Tweets on Facebook. Tweets that have also been automatically published on Twitter.
- Check That your Twitter and Facebook accounts contain the link to your blog.
- Create a Youtube channel with your blog link and post at least one video a week.
- Associate your account Youtube to your Facebook and Twitter accounts.
- Share manually your blog content and that of your Youtube account on your favorite social networks.
- Choose 3 to 5 active blogs and pledge to leave at least two comments on each of its blogs every week.
Some mistakes to avoid:
- Do not join all social networks, because not all will generate free traffic to your blog.
- Do not publish (or more) your articles on free content directories if you want to avoid duplicate content and if your articles are unique, post it on your blog, one day you will reap the fruits of this work. -me.
- Do not procrastinate. Do what you have to do when you plan to do it or when you can do it.
Not only will these tips help you quickly improve your SEO on search engines, but they will also allow you to generate free traffic on your blog. These visitors will then have the opportunity to comment on your articles, to like your fan Facebook page, to tweet your articles and even to comment on your videos.
Once again, this interaction of visitors plays a big role in the (rapid) ranking on the first page google. On the other hand, this sharing will also generate new traffic to your blog. Better yet, it will also create links backlinks (backlinks) and promote the creation of a community on your blog.
That's exactly what Google is looking for. In fact, he wants to see activity on your site, interaction, quality content, sharing your content, the links returns that it generates, the time people spend on your site.
In this regard, I take this opportunity to remind you to link your articles. Write series of articles on the same subject and post the various links at the bottom of the article. This trick helps to keep the visitor longer on the site and especially to encourage him to read more pages.
So, what do you think of this article?
Hello,
For all that regards this comment, know that the social networks are today INDISPENSABLE. I get a big by traffic, twitter to my blog (http://wwww.buzzafter.com).
Otherwise, I find this article excellent, very good plugins that I recommend, thank you!
Hi,
I put a lot of money on twitter and google plus to increase the positions in google searches, it takes time and it works well for now.
These tools are excellent for promoting your site in social networks and Diggs and thus generating traffic to your site. It is really useful and often many realize it.
Hi Thierry,
I see that since I did not go to your home you always give quality content.
Very good article. Indeed, you get straight to the point with practical advice. These are key points that I am sure will help newbies. I am not an expert, and I know that I will have to get started since the time people talk to me about social networks ...
For my part, I have just relaunched my blog on the guitar with a lot of videos, which is what made me put myself on stand bye for a while.
Music is really my passion and I want to make the most of it.
Good continuation to you and very soon
Fabrice
Hi Fabrizio,
Glad to read you again on this blog. Thank you for your comment and good luck with the relaunch of your new blog.
Clever and wise advice that I use in large part already.
I guarantee that it works so that we can stick to it over time.
Thank you for your advice.
Hello Thierry,
I discover your blog and I appreciate the writing style that goes straight to the action.
Even if I use social media (FB and twitter) I have not yet taken the step of linking them to my blog ( http://www.utiliser-internet.com ).
I had not yet found a way to automate actions to reduce the time spent on them.
But now that I have enough content, I'll get started this WEEKEND.
Allow me a question, you may have developed it elsewhere but I would like to know which plugin you are using below this comment to allow you to receive blog updates?
Thank you for sharing and good continuation,
Olivier
Good evening Olivier,
Welcome to this blog and thank you for your comment.
As for your question, I am not using any plugin. This is actually the script offered by AWeber when creating a form. You copy the "Javascript Snippet" And not the "Raw HTML Version".
Copy and add it to the HTML part of your text editor on WordPress.
I hope you get through it.
Sincerely,
Thierry
Thank you Thierry,
I am going to search because I am using GetResponse and not aWeber.
Thank you and A +
Olivier
